Electronic Document Management
A system that manages different kinds of documents, using computer programs and storage. An EDM system allows a company and its users to create a document or capture the hard copy of a file in electronic form. It can then store, edit, print, and process documents in audio, video, or text form. EDM also stands for Engineering Data Management which uses computers and electronic storage media to store data that relates to engineering applications.
