a.k.a. boomerang generation
"Boomerangers" are college graduates, between the ages of 22 and 29 who are single, have full-time jobs and live at home with their parents.
The boomerang generation is a subset of generation y, commonly known as the millennials. This segment became more prevalent given changing economic conditions starting in 2008, the growth in multi-generational households, and evolving relationship dynamics between today's young adults and their parents (see: helicopter parents).
