Big Dumb Company -or- Big Dot Com
Online jargon, also known as text message shorthand, used primarily in texting, online chat, instant messaging, email, blogs, and newsgroup postings, these types of abbreviations are also referred to as chat acronyms.
It refers to a large, established company with either "fat, dumb, happy managers" that resist change and don't understand the importance of having an online presence. Once a company like this finally groks and makes the transition, it is known as a "Big Dot Com."
