WIIFY

What's In It For You

(pronounced: whiff-ee)

An acronym used in texting, online chat, instant messaging, e-mail, blogs, and newsgroup postings, it is also considered a form of online jargon or text message shorthand. It is business jargon that describes how CEOs and others should deliver speeches: don't dance around the self-interest appeal, rather "what in it for the audience" should be a central aspect of every speech.
