technobabble

A series of high-tech terms strung together to sound impressive without actually meaning anything. Technobabble can be used to overwhelm newbies and give a false sense of superiority to people in the industry who use such jargon.

Here's an example: "Tell the fresh fish that even though they're NCGs, we are not a gingerbread house so they need to work hard for their bonuses otherwise they'll just get scooby snacks. Tell them we eat our own dog food here, they should be grateful they're in a cube farm instead of a co-working set up, and that biobreaks are encouraged. Let me know if there's any dog-collar labor or open-collar workers; they're in the industry now so we'll be monitoring their digital footprint, and remind them they signed an NDA so no opening the drapes."
