NFM

News Feed Marketing

NFM refers to paying a Web site or social utility (such as Facebook) to insert your online ad next to news feed items that it thinks are important enough to be shown.

News Feed Marketing is comparable to SEM, whereas NFO (News Feed Optimization) is akin to SEO. Review the SEM definition and you'll see that NFM is fairly easy for marketers to understand: pay a Web site and they'll place you in their news feeds and guarantee a certain quantity of targeted traffic to your application or sponsored group.
