a.k.a. e-fulfillment
The process of completing transactions, including sales orders, requests for information, redemption of coupons, premiums, giveaways, rebates, or refunds. Fulfillment relates to warehousing, returns processing, database management, inventory, and quality control. A new generation of business providers specializes in "e-fulfillment," which is basically fulfillment for e-commerce entities. Other business providers now offer turnkey fulfillment.
