One of several top-level domains assigned to corporate URLs, generally for companies headquartered outside the U.S. (as opposed to .com, which is for commercial Web sites primarily within the U.S.). For example, www.bbc.co.uk is the URL for the BBC. Other domain suffixes include .ac, .com, .mil, .gov, .net, .mil, .org, and a long list of country codes.
