People -or- Pay-Per-Lead -or- Pay Per Lead

(pronouced: P-P-L in the first definition and people in the second definition)

This term refers to two things: 1) It is an online advertising payment model in which payment to the publisher is based only on the number of qualifying leads that were generated for the advertiser; 2) Online jargon, also known as text message shorthand, used primarily in texting, online chat, instant messaging, email, blogs, and newsgroup postings, it is spelled in all lowercase because it's also considered a form of leetspeak.
