Zip Disk

An advanced version of the floppy disk, created by Iomega. These disks (typically 100MB or 250MB) enable you to store, share, and backup information from your computer using an Iomega Zip Drive. The Jaz series stores up to 2GB and offers removable storage capacity at speeds matching many existing hard drives. The PocketZip product is designed to work with digital cameras, MP3 players, and mobile computers; it provides removable, rewritable storage on 40MB disks (that means a single disk has more room to store information than 25 floppies put together).
