wellness darty

Slang for the healthy version of a keg party on college campuses, "wellness darties" refer to a "day party" featuring non-alcoholic activities. 

For example, BORGs, kegs, and Jell-O shots are replaced with yoga, running and ice baths. Everyone gets together wearing matching athletic wear to stretch, run, or do yoga, and these wellness darty events usually feature cold plunges, ice baths, or portable saunas.There may be iced coffee, matcha, or fresh fruit along with a live DJ to keep a party vibe alive. 

Historical perspective: As of back-to-school time in 2026, more young people are choosing to drink less alcohol. Instead they like having a structured activity, like a workout, which makes it easier to meet new people without the pressure to drink.
