I take your question

When you want to blow somebody off or shut somebody down, you say "I take your question." It's a new form of bye Felicia, for example, "Would you like to go out to dinner?" "I take your question." Or, "Whadda think of my idea?" "I take your question."

Historical perspective: This phrase came from of Robert Mueller's testimony before the House Judiciary Committee on July 24, 2019 when he inadvertently gave the world a new catchphrase with which to shut people down.
