and googolplex

A googol is a mathematical term to describe a huge quantity which equals 1 followed by 100 zeros.

A googolplex is 10 to the power of googol, or 1 followed by a googol of zeros.

Historical perspective: it's not an incorrect spelling of the Google, the search giant's name. In fact it's the other way around as founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin named Google after this infinite quantity of large numbers to fit their mission “to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful.” Considering the original name was Backrub, Google makes more sense.
