CBD

it stands for Cannabidiol, a.k.a. CBD oil
CBD refers to Cannabidiol, which is a naturally occurring cannabinoid constituent of cannabis, also known as marijuana.

CBD does appear to produce significant changes in the body, and some research suggests that it has medical benefits. Unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive, meaning CBD does not change a person's state of mind when they use it. One typically consumes a few drops orally under the tongue.

Historical perspective: It was discovered in 1940 and initially thought not to be pharmaceutically active. It is also one of at least 113 cannabinoids identified in hemp plants, accounting for up to 40% of the plant's extract.  As of 2018, products containing the compound are legal in many American states where marijuana is not.
