A term to describe media that advertises a product or brand while entertaining. Advertisers can buy shows (five to eight minutes in broadband) for much less than the cost of a 30 second Super Bowl ad and acquire reach over broadband, wireless and video on demand (VOD).

The main difference between "advertainment" and "entertaining advertising" is that with advertainment, part of the design is to promote interaction between the consumer and the campaign.
