Very high-speed Backbone Network Service
The first high-speed backbone, it is a WAN designed to serve as a platform for testing new technologies and protocols. It links several SCCs and NAPs (Super Computer Centers and Network Access Points) at high speeds (622 Mbps). It is expected to support data, voice, and video at 2.5 Gbps.
