obsolete

Refers to software or hardware that is so outdated, it's considered to no longer exist. (Some people joke that hardware becomes obsolete as soon as you walk out of the store with it. This is similar to buying a new car, which loses a large chunk of its value as soon as you drive it off the lot.)
