Gbps




Gigabits or billions of bits per second

A measure of bandwidth (the total information flow over a given time) on a telecommunications medium. Bandwidth is also measured in the Kbps range (kilobits or thousands of bits per second) or the Mbps range (megabits or millions of bits per second), depending on the medium and transmission method.
