WBMP or .wbmp

Wireless Bitmap

A graphics file format created specifically for use with wireless, mobile computing devices, such as cell phones, pagers, PDAs, and palm-sized PCs. Each WBMP file includes a value that describes the file's image based on the organization of its pixels and the amount of compression used to store the image.

WBMP data is configured according to Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) specifications for accessing information via handheld devices.
