OPS

Open Profiling Standard
An Internet standard for handling the privacy of user information, similar to P3P. OPS assures the secure transfer of data from a user's browser but doesn't require a Web site to embed its privacy policy in its HTML code. Where a P3P-enabled browser automatically sends the profiling information approved by the user, an OPS browser requires the user to manually choose what info will be sent to the Web site.
