Megabits per second
A measure of the bandwidth of a telecommunications medium (the total information flow over a given time). Bandwidth is also measured in Kbps (kilobits or thousands of bits per second) or in Gbps (gigabits or billions of bits per second), depending on the medium and transmission method.
