load

On the Web, HTML documents and graphics get "loaded into the browser" whenever a URL is accessed. In other words, you may hear "Is our site down? Why is it not loading for you?"
In traditional computing jargon, a "load" is when program instructions (or data) are transferred from a disk into the computer's RAM.
