GNOME




GNU Network Object Model Environment

A project intended to create a user-friendly desktop based entirely on free and open source software. GNOME includes several utilities and applications for text editing and file management. GNOME is often used in Linux and can also run on other Unix variants, such as FreeBSD, IRIX, and Solaris.
