Cold Fusion

A Rapid Application Development (RAD) system created by Allaire Corporation (which merged with Macromedia), it integrates browser, server, and database technologies into Web applications.
ColdFusion Web pages are written with ColdFusion Markup Language (CFML) tags. ColdFusion simplifies a Web site's integration with databases, and it replaces the need for more complex languages like C++ for creating translating programs.
