CFML

Cold Fusion Markup Language
A proprietary programming language developed by the Allaire Corporation, which merged with Macromedia. CFML tags link HTML pages to database servers, allowing Web pages to display different text and images as dictated by database commands (see: database-driven). CFML goes beyond database management to fill some important gaps in HTML, including session variables, branching logic, and loops, along with other constructs that programmers are accustomed to using, such as error trapping and debugging tools.
