EFF

Electronic Frontier Foundation
Founded by Mitch Kapor and John Perry Barlow in 1990, with Mike Goodwin as counsel, the EFF is a cyber rights organization in San Francisco that advocates the right of free expression in the digital age. The organization was created to defend users' rights to express ideas with new technologies, such as the Internet and the World Wide Web.
